little miss maeve is finally here! and it only took me 24 hours to figure out how to blog on my television...i nearly did a blog during labor (the still smiling part) but couldn't figure out this ghetto internet system. anywho, maeve was born after 11 hours of labor and 2 minutes of pushing! i'll write the real story when i'm home and comfy so you can hear all the gory details =-) she weighs 6 pounds 15 ounces (i'll spare you my weight) and is 20 inches long and beautiful!!!!! i am thrilled she is here and will post pictures soon!

I'm so happy for you guys! Welcome to "the other side". ;) Can't wait to meet her. Happy babymoon!
Yay Michelle! So glad to hear your good news and we are waiting with baited breath for pictures of this new little one. Has Amelie met her yet?
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Yay! It finally happened. I'm super excited for you. I was just talking with my sister on the phone. She said, "Has your friend from Cedarville had her baby yet?" I was explaining how I was getting updates from your blog and the longest you had to potentially wait was one more week. Meanwhile I was clicking over to your blog and SHE'S HERE!!!
Speaking of sisters, I slapped mine in the face the first time I saw her (i don't remember this; i was 18 months old). Apparently she was crying and that's what I felt was an appropriate reaction. But we are grand friends now; it all works out! :)
I love you and your family, Michelle. Hello to Maeve.

amelie got to meet her last night and was here again this morning--she was so precious! she kept kissing baby maeve (on the blanket) and held her for a minute and kept saying, "maeve's here!" it was heartachingly pricesless...my heart is overwhelmed with joy! also...my body is overwhelmed with exhaustion--sleeping in a hospital across from the chick with the biggest family who never leaves = yuck! praise the Lord for a private room!
Congrats!!! She finally made it here! Sounds like she made a safe entrance. Can't wait to hear the story! Congrats again!!!! :)
I will make you laugh now.
When we told Josh that Amelie had a new baby sister, he burst into tears.
I think it was because he misses Amelie cause he kept asking for her. Although, he may be mourning a fellow-fallen only child. ;)
Yay! I rejoice with you, and can't wait to hear the birth story. Welcome baby Maeve!
Congratulations! Can't wait to see pictures and hear the whole story! Welcome Maeve!
PRAISE GOD! Can't wait to see her!!!
