*First* "Word"?

M waved and smiled at some people at the park today and uttered a syllable that sounded markedly like "hi."
Just thought I'd share =)

A Bee In Her Bonnet

Ah! This kid...she is something else!
She was gifted a very fun butterfly net from her very fun Uncle's girl Ali =)
She loves it!
We didn't have any butterflies around to catch so we worked with what we had and went after the next best thing--

I wish I had my camcorder b/c it was the most hilarious thing I have ever seen. She was so gung-ho about catching the ants but as SOON as she got it in her net she started screeching and screaming at the top of her lungs.

I finally caught a bug for her and she was so excited to see it crawling around but when it flew out the thing touched her arm and she threw the net across the yard and started smacking her arms and legs to make sure she killed it or something.

Oh man. Hilarious (and no, it doesn't translate as well in type--you HAD to be there =)

I love all the little moments that our lives are built of.
It's the funny, good, little happy things that help you get through the screaming temper tantrums and Velociraptor screaming fits.

The End.

The last pictures you will ever see of this year's recital. I think. Just don't try to hold me to it. Ha!

this is the picture i'll pull out as soon as she introduces me to her first boyfriend....

Because I haven't had the time to edit any are some more recital pics for the Granny(s)

practicing before the rectial
i think they're *sure*

Best bow Ever

Disturbing and New

So, Mavis Beacon started out all innocent with the cute little front teeth.
I love those little teeth
(most of the time--let me just say that teeth and breastfeeding don't mix well).
Anyways, I looked into her mouth this morning and apparently her
Vampire teeth
are coming in. I'm fairly certain that A got all of her four front teeth at the same time.
M is going to be slightly off-balance =)
They scared and disturbed me so I just had to share.

Monkey Lovers A.K.A. Obsession

Rosebud is totally obsessed with the bronze monkey statue at the zoo.

I think she actually enjoys seeing it more than the actual monkeys.

That is all.

This One's For Amy

We went to the zoo yesterday and actually saw (FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER) the zoo balloon flying while we were there. I have never seen that stinkin' thing fly out of the 15 times I've been there so I had to take a picture to document the event! So here's proof Amy, that someday Hannah will get to ride the balloon! Sorry you missed it--and as for me--you wouldn't be able to tempt me into that thing for anything! Scary!

Fun Thy Name Is *Vaughn*

What a fun fun day spent with our good friends!
We enjoyed exploring the zoo, eating delicious chick fil a and putting the babies down for simultaneous naps so I could whoop all your butts at dominos.
And although I think it's unfair to the rest of the world--I rather enjoyed taking pictures of our babies who are undoubtedly the cutest kids in all the land.
Muah! We love you guys!
