We had a *wonder-full* time on vacation at the shore!
Amelie is in love with the ocean and the sand and we were in love with a happy/occupied toddler!
We wouldn't have changed a thing except for having two hotel rooms because let me tell ya, the kids slept REALLY well but we ALL had to go to bed at 8....that was just a tad on the early side for the parents--but we were well-rested!
The weather was perfect at the shore--cool and breezy the first day and warm and perfect the 2nd and 3rd.
Going so early in the season is also fab b/c there weren't many people around at all--yay for fun family time!
You can see it was pretty windy the first day:

Ok. I'm thinking we're going to need to venture on a shore-play date this summer! I'm envisioning toddlers frolicking, mommas eating funnel cake and pizza and everyone sleeping on the way home!!!

Were you at Ocean City? We were literally next door in Longport (Thurs. & Fri.)!! Shea LOVED the beach, too!! They probably would have had a ball together!!!
