Zoo At The Cape

I <3 the Cape May Zoo.

It's *free*ness and open walk ways make me happy!

I love the boardwalk looking over the "plains" where the giraffes, zebra and huge scary demon ostrich roam free. Stinkin' scary ostrich. It's a good thing I don't live somewhere where those things roam free. I just wouldn't be able to deal with it. *shudder*

Anywho, my favorite part was seeing the lion--he was stretched out in the sun, belly-up, soaking in the sun like a kitty cat--it made me feel happy for some reason.

I also liked the reptile house. I learned that the rattle snake that lives in Jersey is close to extinction. That made me feel happy for some reason too.
