merry merry merry christmas!

i am so thankful today as we remember the birth of Christ. it wasn't until i became a mother that i truly could begin to appreciate what it meant for God to send His Son to earth--I can't imagine parting with any of my beloved children for more then a few hours and here God was willing to part with His Son and send Him to a sinful, thankless world that was full of disease and death all so that some sinful souls could enjoy eternity in heaven!

what an indescribable sacrifice--can you imagine the things that Jesus gave up to come to earth? He was willing to trade His throne in Heaven for a dirty barn and the power of God for the helplessness of a baby.

i am so thankful this year for all that God has provided for us--this fabulous bundle of newborn baby on my lap--and especially that newborn baby over 2000 years ago---my Savior and Friend--i can't wait to meet Him in person!
