tuesday
it's only tuesday and it's already been a longgg week! we are down to one car (big sob), hopefully steven's car will be road worthy again soon...also we are still looking at places to live in heights--we see another one tonight, so we're keeping our fingers crossed (living 2 blocks from steven's job would definately be a help in a car situation like this!!).
luckily, amelie was up early enough today that we could take steven to work and use the car--we got to visit granny and pop-pop's house and use amelie's kiddie pool and play house--we even got to use on demand cable...aw, i miss it. we played with their puppy and came home to nap before we go look at the house!
amelie was just eating dinner and told me she was done and when i washed her hands and took the tray away she said, "thank you mommy!"
i <3 manners!!
here is what m.v.w. is up to this week! she sure is giving me heartburn...
Your Baby's Development
During this week, your baby is spending more time preparing for life after birth. Nerves around the mouth and lip area are becoming more sensitive now, preparing Baby for that all-important task of finding a nipple and getting nourishment.
At a pound and a half and a length of about eight to 10 inches, Baby is growing at a steady pace. The umbilical cord is thick and resilient now, covered in a firm, slippery substance that prevents kinking and knotting and may regulate the blood flow between placenta and Baby.
This week, you could expect:
Baby will begin curling her fingers into a fist.
Baby's dexterity will continue to develop.
She'll continue to explore her surroundings, including the umbilical cord.
Your baby's spinal structure will begin to form.
Baby's nostrils beginning to open.

Are you thinking of moving? Being close to work, is HUGE.....Jon is only about 7 minutes from work most days (somedays he has to go to a different hospital) but.....I can tell it already makes a difference!
