Best Zoo Day Ever.
The zoo is having special early hours for members only on Saturdays.
We arrived at 8:30 and were literally the first people in the park--the workers were surprised to see us!

It was awesome--NO PEOPLE AT ALL!
Lots of active/eating animals.
It was cool but not freezing.
Amelie was a little on the grumpy side in the morning but cheered right up!
Maeve is never on the grumpy side.
As close as she would dare go near the Peacock.
Our friend the lioness--the lions were so beautiful. They seemed lonely and came right over to the window when they saw us and just stayed and watched us. They are amazing.

we debated the zoo yesterday-didn't make it though=) the early memeber days are great! did you know that you can upgrade your membership for about $60 and you can do all the rides-zoo balloon, swan boats, pony rides, train rides and a few others each visit. they sent out discount ticket offers after you already buy so I called to see if I could upgrade for the difference and they let me. not sure if you're interested=)
Yeah! We are getting ready to go to the zoo now! Great pictures!
