o*b*e*d*i*e*n*c*e
so today was the first day that i really felt that amelie was willfully disobedient. *sigh* she's growing up and definately at a stage where she wants things her way right away! it's kind of sad and it took me by surprise--kicking and running away on purpose is a far cry from annoying baby antics--oh boy! here is a picture of her after our little 2 year old version of an obedience talk. she's cute, even when she's mad at me!
baby weber is far more docile today-HA! here's an update!
Week 19
Your Baby's Development
Welcome to the fifth month of pregnancy! This week your baby is working on protecting her skin, as she develops a waxy substance called vernix caseosa, which will disappear at birth. Vernix is secreted by the glands in the skin this week, and protects the growing skin from getting chapped or wrinkled from floating in amniotic fluid.
During this time, you may feel Baby's first movements, called “quickening.” If you've already had one child, you'll probably feel those first flutterings about 2 weeks earlier than you did in your first pregnancy, mainly because you know what sensation to look for. This week, Baby will grow to about five or six inches, and will weigh about seven ounces by week's end.
Also this week, you can expect that:
Buds that will later produce permanent teeth are now forming behind the baby teeth buds.

ahhhhhh, its so sad (and happy too, but mostly sad...) isn't it....I know we are not exactly where you are yet, but I swear that Sammy is testing the waters- I told Jon yesterday that there is a fine line between Sammy not feeling well/being almost 16 months old, and just being Plain naughty and I think he is standing on it....Its kind of hard to tell what they really understand in the beginning-
Good job with the talk:)
Yeah to baby Webber!
It's so hard to reprimand them when they look at you like that :( I thought that it would get easier to do after each child but it doesn't because they each have their own unique look that they give to you that makes you want to melt. They are so smart!
