S.S.T.S. or Sunday School Tourette's Syndrome

The little known disorder Sunday School Tourette's Syndrome or S.S.T.S. has become Amelie's current affliction. Usually it strikes immediately after Sunday School, sometimes as early as the drive home. It manifests in the following ways: through song, conversation, dances and hand motions.

Case in point:

Wonder Woman: How was Sunday School honey?

Amelie: JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW!

W.W.: Did you have fun?

Amelie: JESUS LOVES THE FISHER"S OF MEN!

W.W.: Beautiful singing honey, but did you have a nice time?

Amelie: JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD!

This disorder is most often exhibited during random moments of the day where this particular phrase is screamed/sung at a breakneck pace:
JESUSLOVESMETHISIKNOWFORTHEBIBILETELLSMESOOOOOOOO!

Wouldn't it be totally fab if we all suffered from this disorder? It makes my heart sing to hear my little girl freely, loudly, and often singing about the love of Jesus. What a cool kid I have.

When I was around 2-2 1/2, my parent's asked me the same questions about S.S, and all I would say was, "Don't push Brandi." Apparently, I was somewhat of a bully in S.S. and kept getting in trouble for pushing a little girl that was younger than me!

as a parent the following verse is amazing:
"there is no greater joy than knowing my children are walking in truth"
